Marriott International announced it has signed a partnership agreement with the Red Sea Development Company to open the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve off the western coast of Saudi Arabia as part of an upcoming Red Sea project.
The company said in a statement that “the new Ritz-Carlton Preserve, named after its stars, is expected to open in 2023 to provide personalized entertainment that combines luxury services with natural beauty and ancient design, noting that its stars represent the first brand project in the Middle East”. It brings together five Ritz-Carlton reservations around the world.
She noted that “its stars are located in the center of a group of private islands and are expected to include approximately 63 beach villas ranging from one to four rooms, with plans for the future to include a range of luxurious amenities and exclusive services, including including a luxurious spa and swimming pools, as well as several restaurants, a luxurious shopping mall and other entertainment facilities such as a center dedicated to the protection of wildlife.
