The prime minister said, this Monday, in a speech at the Hannover fair, that Portugal “is a world reference” in “energy solutions”. António Costa invited those present in the place to visit the “knowledge” of Portuguese companies “for the production of renewable energies”, including hydrogen.
“We have a dynamic innovation ecosystem that attracts development centers and products from all over the world,” he added, noting that “in the last six years” many German companies have chosen Portugal.
The prime minister said that Portugal’s participation in the Hannover fair, in which it participated as a partner country, aims to bring “digital production technologies, including artificial intelligence and the internet of things” to the event.
Emphasizing that Portugal brings the future to Hannover, António Costa leaves an invitation: “I invite you all to join us and see with your own eyes why Portugal makes perfect sense. Let’s do business.”

With the motto “Portugal makes sense”, Hannover Messe’22, considered the largest industry fair in the world, began on Sunday and ends on Thursday, having chosen Portugal as a partner country for this year’s edition. The head of government had already mentioned that the country intended to “build the future of industrial cooperation.”
