Nine shootings on Friday and Saturday in Philadelphia

Between Friday and Saturday, nine separate shootings occurred in Democrat-ruled Philadelphia, with one shooting resulting in the death of a pregnant woman.

CBS Philadelphia reported that eight of the shootings were not fatal.

The first non-fatal gunshot wound was when a 23-year-old man was shot in the thigh at 11 pm on Friday, the 21-year-old was shot twice and injured about an hour later.

Also on Friday night, a 15-year-old man was shot and a 58-year-old man was found in his Chevrolet with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A 38-year-old man was found on the street with multiple gunshot wounds after an argument “in a nightclub”.

A 44-year-old man was shot twice at “1500 block of West Boston Street” at 10:30 am on Saturday. A 23-year-old man was shot in the elbow “in the block of 2200 Graz Street”.

The 23-year-old was shot dead at the “SEPTA Susquehanna-Dauphin Station on the Broad Street Line” just before 15:00 on Saturday.

FOX 29 reported that the fatal shooting involved a pregnant woman who was shot Saturday. The woman was in her 20s and was shot in the head when police found her “just before 1:30 am on Richmond Street and Whitsheef Lane”.

The woman died, but the doctors saved her child.
