While the mainstream media for decades celebrated the mass immigration to the United States, where the number of foreigners will reach 70 million by 2060, and repeatedly referred to the United States as a “nation of immigrants,” the broadcast warned “California and other Americans.” It floods Mexico City” and “some locals want to go home.”

The United States has the world’s largest foreign-born population, with over 46 million illegal and legal immigrants.
Major cities such as Los Angeles, California have about five million foreign-born residents who make up 35 percent of the city’s population. Similarly, about 40 percent of New York City’s population is foreign national. By contrast, Mexico City has only 1.6 million American citizens—just 18 percent of the city’s total population.
