The board of directors of the Al-Ahly Club of Egypt will hold an emergency meeting this Sunday afternoon to discuss and follow up on all matters related to the crisis of the last African Champions League match to be held in Morocco.
Al-Ahly said, in a statement posted on his Twitter account, that the decision of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to give Morocco the honor of hosting the continental final for the second consecutive year was “ unequal.”

Al-Ahly confirmed in its statement that the team’s board of directors “will review, at its meeting today, all the administrative and legal steps taken in recent days (against the concession in Morocco of the venue for final of the African Champions), and will make decisions that preserve the club’s literary and artistic rights.
The decision to give Morocco the right to host the Champions League finals has created a lot of controversy in Egypt, as Al-Ahly and the Egyptian Football Association are opposed to hosting the final in Morocco, and officials have requested of the CAF that the match will be held in a neutral stadium. .
Egypt’s Al-Ahly booked their spot in the final match of the African Champions League, following their draw yesterday on Saturday, with their host ES Setif of Algeria 2-2 in the second leg of the semi-final, know that the Egyptian team had won the first leg without a response.
Al-Ahly will play in the final match of Moroccan Wydad, who qualified at the expense of Angolan Petro Club, with a 4-2 victory over them over the course of the two matches.
