Manchester United player and international midfielder Nemanja Matic has spoken about approaching the end of his journey with the Red Devils brigade.

“I just want to thank the fans for the huge support,” Matic said. “I know we’ve had two tough seasons, but I just want the fans to know that at the training ground we’re doing everything we can to best, Manchester United will definitely come back, it will take some time, but he will come back. Keep it up. Support the team, stick together.”

“I tried to be a Manchester United player not only on the field but also off the field, because I know what this slogan means to our fans, so you have to be an example not only on the field,” Matic said.

“I think the fans understand that and that’s why when I came out against Brentford I got that applause, I’m going to miss the players and also the staff around the players. Great people work at the United club.
