Chelsea striker Armando Brocha has announced his farewell to Southampton following a loan spell last season.
The 20-year-old scored nine goals in 38 Saints appearances in all competitions in his first season in English football.
Six of those goals have been in the Premier League, though only one has been scored since Ralph Hasenhüttl told the media he wanted to keep Broch at the club in January.
The Albanian international was not included in the squad on the last day of the season at Leicester City.
Following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 campaign, Brocha posted this farewell message on his Instagram: “What a fantastic season for me personally and my family. I also want to say a big thank you to Southampton and the amazing fans for believing in me. and allowing me to show what I can do.”
He concluded by saying, “Finally, I’d like to say a big thank you to the players… You guys have taught me a lot this year.”
