The Mexican driver of the Austrian team Red Bull Sergio Pérez snatched the title of the Monaco Grand Prix, the seventh round of the 2022 season, as part of the Formula 1 World Championship, after his team’s outstanding policy in going to the pits to outplay Ferrari and win against Scuderia driver Carlos Sainz II.

Carlos Sainz said: “I gave everything I could, you can understand my disappointment, we could easily achieve a double.”

Sainz added: “I won’t complain too much, Chico had a great race and now we’ll focus on what’s next.”

Sainz continued: “I asked the team not to change my tires because I saw that the track was dry, unfortunately I followed a late car and it cost me a few seconds and there I lost the race, Perez’s tires were worn out, but I overtaking. it’s not possible here, it’s a sport, Perez is being used today, and my time will come.”
