A former Virginia Tech football player has been acquitted of beating a man who impersonates a woman on Tinder. date is broken

Former Virginia Tech football player Adımemen Etiute has been acquitted of murdering a man who pretended to be a woman on a bad date on Tinder.

A jury in Montgomery County District Court in Virginia found the 19-year-old former actor not guilty of second-degree murder charges by beating 40-year-old Jerry Smith, Fox News reported.

Etute and openly gay Smith met via online dating app Tinder after Smith was reportedly having oral sex with an 18-year-old woman. But Etute eventually returns to the old man’s apartment and then gets angry because Etute says that Smith introduced herself as a woman when they first met.

The former player in the stands said she felt “raped” when she found out about the man she was dating.

The prosecution accused the stronger and larger former football player of “violently beating” the 153-pound Smith. However, Etyute said he was shot five times and kicked once to get rid of his supposed armed rival.

Etute stated that Smith used violence during his arguments when he thought he was holding a gun. Although police did not find a gun in Smith’s apartment, they did find a knife under the man’s bed.

Lawyer Jimmy Turk argued that Etute acted in self-defense after being manipulated by the old man. Turk also said that Smith is a “deceptive and dishonest man” who “cheats young people for his own sexual pleasure”.

Turk concluded the argument by saying that Smith had committed a “bad sexual plot”.

When the verdict was announced, Etute jumped up and hugged her lawyer.
