Türkiye suspends the export of electronic devices to Russia
Türkiye has blocked exports of electronic devices of Western origin to Russia following the threat of sanctions from the United States, the Financial Times reports.
At stake are exports of certain technologies that Washington considers “vital” to the Russian war effort in Ukraine, involving electronic systems, microcraft and remote control systems.
Türkiye is expected to completely cease exports of these devices that help the Russian war effort by the end of the year.
The Turkish government and Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment.
