The Beirut club achieved their first victory in the last series of the Lebanese Basketball Championship, surpassing Riyadi by a score (71-57) at home to Chiya. The victory lowered the score to (2 – 1) in the final series, and the title was lifted by the winners to 4 of 7 matches.

Beirut were the better side in yesterday’s match and their players were able to impose their rhythm from the first quarter and maintain their progress throughout the match. Wael Arakdzhi was the star of the match, scoring decisive points over all distances, scoring 29 points and also showing exceptional defensive performance. For his part, Beirut center Tunisian Saleh Majri regained his level and showed a good game on defense.
