Spanish newspapers are reporting on the future of French footballer Ferland Mendy, Real Madrid defender.

Real Madrid left this summer, and Isco and Marcelo along with Gareth Bale, and Mendy could become the fourth player during this summer’s transfers.

And according to the Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid after the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea are not averse to selling Mendy in the summer.

The French defender has made 35 appearances, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

The newspaper reported that Rudiger would play in the center of defense alongside Eder Militao, which would force the Austrian David Alaba back into the left-back position he developed over the years at Bayern Munich.

Thus, Mendy’s importance will decrease, so Real will agree to sell him if the club receives an offer to buy him.

Mendy has reportedly moved to Real Madrid from Olympique Lyon for €48m and the royals are hoping to receive a similar offer to turn him down.
