New international volleyball referees Joel Al-Kuba, Mirella Saad and Mohamed Yassin have returned from Doha, Qatar after participating in an international referee study organized by the Qatar Volleyball Association, led by the Asian Football Confederation. The study was conducted by the Egyptian international lecturer Walid Abdel Samad with the participation of 18 appointed judges from nine countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Qatar and Lebanon.

Three Lebanese judges passed the written, oral and practical examinations with distinction. During the closing ceremony of the study, which was attended and sponsored by the President of the West Asian Federation and the President of the Qatar Federation, Ali Ghanem Al-Kuwari, three judges presented Al-Kuwari with a commendation shield on behalf of the President of the Lebanese Federation, Walid al-Kasuf and the members of the Federation, and presented on their named Lebanese cedar to the international lecturer Abdel Samad.

Al-Qasuf later contacted the three judges and congratulated them on behalf of the gaming family on their international certification, wishing them well in their arbitration careers.
