Saudi club Al Wahda have announced the signing of Bruno Akrapovic, an Italian of Bosnian origin, who will coach the team in the new season following his promotion to the Mohammed bin Salman Pro Cup.

The contract with 54-year-old Akrabovic goes to the Tunisian Habib bin Ramadan, whose mission in the team ended after his return to the professional league.

The division will be the first training experience in the Arab region for the Italian Akrapovic, who has previously worked with many Croatian, Bulgarian and Macedonian clubs, most notably CSKA Sofia, Bulgarian Lokomotiv and Croatian Val and Mosur, in addition to Team Europe from Gibraltar. , knowing that his last stop was with the Macedonian team Shekendija, which led him to play in the 2022-2023 European Conference League qualifiers after the team finished third in the Macedonian league.
