Mercedes Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend by playing good old fashioned video games as the 37-year-old former world champion rushed ahead after arriving in Montreal and went to buy an old Sega Genesis console directly.
As Hamilton rests at home from the back pain he struggled with after last weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix due to rebound problems and tries to be in shape this weekend, he has been given some time to unwind after landing in Canada.

And Hamilton told his nearly 29 million Instagram followers that the first thing he did after arriving was visit an antique shop.

He bought himself the Saga Genesis, a console first released in 1989 with a racing game.
In a video of him enjoying his gaming session, Hamilton wrote: “I landed in Montreal and went straight to the old toy store and bought a Sega Genesis and of course Ayrton Senna’s Super Monaco GP II, I loved this game when I was baby, and I still do it.” Now she’s still standing!
