Bayern Munich have officially announced their €32m contract with Senegalese Sadio Mane, in addition to the €9m variable, as the Senegalese signed until 2025.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer told the club’s official website: “Mane is a world-class star and she will increase the appeal of the German Bundesliga. For the sake of these stars, the fans come to the stadiums.”
He stressed: “It’s great for the board of directors to sign a player like Mane.”
Oliver Kahn, the club’s CEO, commented on the deal saying: “We are delighted to have signed Mane, especially after the impressive performance and great success he has had in recent years at Liverpool.
He added: “There are few players like him in the world. He is ambitious and eager to win more titles, and with players like him, big goals are possible.”
As for Hasan Salihamidzic, he said: “Many are world stars who have left their mark on world football, and we are proud of him.”
He added: “Everyone knows his quality and amazing ability, he fits into the way we play under Julian Nagelsmann.”
