Roma are considering signing midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo in the event of an important offer, according to Italian newspapers, in light of Tottenham’s interest in his services.
Reports from Italy have claimed that Tottenham’s sporting director Fabio Paratici is looking into bringing the 22-year-old to the Premier League.
Zaniolo made 38 appearances last season under Jose Mourinho, and former Roma striker Roberto Bruzzo thinks such a big offer would be too hard to turn down on one condition.
“If a team is willing to spend 50 million euros on Zaniolo, I will think about it,” he said.
He added: “If the money comes in, you can sign Domenico Berardi and another lineman, the fans can appreciate him.”
He continued: “Zaniolo’s contract is for another two years and if you help him get better next season, you can even sell him for 70 million euros.”
