Rodrigo Pique, a relative of former F1 world champion Nelson Pique, decided to defend him after he used a racist language against seven-time world champion Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton via a social media post. Nelson’s daughter, Kelly Pique, loved the post. It should be noted that Kelly is the girlfriend of the current Formula 1 world champion, Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen. And in a post published by Rodrigo, he wrote: “Our grandmother always used this word for us, and she told us that the word expresses love.”
Piqué Sr. is reported to have spoken in an interview about the crash that occurred between Hamilton and Verstappen during the Silverstone race last season when they collided with each other. The Little Negro (Lewis Hamilton) drove the car into a corner, knowing that two cars could not get into this turn at the same time, ”said Piquet. – Luckily, only the other guy (Max Verstappen) managed to crash his car. I finished the race.”
While these comments came from Piqué last November, they are only relatively recent on the web.
It should be noted that Piqué competed in Formula 1 from 1978 to 1991 and won three titles.
