Mohamed Othman, legal adviser for Egyptian club Al Ahli, described scenes of the club obtaining a judgment against former team player Abdullah Al Said and current Pyramids player by confiscating his balances and accounts.

There was a three-way contract between Al Ahly and Al Ahly Jeddah and Abdullah Al Said that the player was transferred to Al Ahly Jeddah and another contract between the player and the Saudi club in case of resale.

He added that there is a clause according to which whoever violates the contract is required to pay a fine of $2 million.

He added: “The contract between the player and the Saudi club was terminated and the player was playing for a club in Egypt and Al Ahli went to the IF but they said it was a dispute between the club and the player. The appeal and verdict were upheld and, in accordance with the law, the Egyptian facts were published that these rulings were to be enforced.

And he concluded: Al-Ahly’s position on the case is strong, and the decision made by the Settlement and Arbitration Committee is legal, since it is a recognized body and is competent in this matter in accordance with the law.
