Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly will not join another Italian side if he leaves Napoli during this summer’s transfers, according to press reports.

And the British newspaper The Sun pointed out that Koulibaly has been playing for Napoli for the past eight years, but this summer he may leave the Italian team.

Juventus officials believe Koulibaly would be a good alternative to Matthias de Ligt, who is also close to leaving the Mercato as he was linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Koulibaly wants to leave the Italian league, which is giving a strong impetus to other clubs wanting to include him, such as Chelsea and Barcelona.

The journalist confirmed that Koulibaly would prefer to move to Barcelona, but the Catalan club is in financial difficulties.

On the other hand, Chelsea are hard at work finalizing the deal after losing defenders Antonio Rüdiger to Real Madrid on a free transfer and Andreas Christensen to Barcelona.
