Last March, the Court of Athletic Affairs (CAS) issued a final, non-appealable judgment, fining the electrification $2.4 million to Zamalek, in addition to 5% per annum of the amount from June 20, 2019 until the full payment date.

The decision came in support of FIFA’s decision after Kahraba left Zamalek in the summer of 2019 for Portugal’s Deportivo Aves in a free transfer deal due to the expiration of his contract with the Egyptian club.

Notably, Kahraba, 28, joined Al-Ahli in early 2020, having spent 6 months in the ranks of Avis following his departure from Zamalek without the approval of his administration.
