American legend Alison Felix ended her amazing professional track and field career by winning the 4x400m medley relay with her country at the 18th World Championships in Eugene, USA.
The gold medal went to the Dominican Republic with a time of 3.09:82 against the Netherlands (3.09:82), while the US clocked 3.10:16.
In any case, the bronze medal marked the end of a remarkable career that Felix first started at the World Championships in Paris in 2003 at the age of 17.
A year later, she won the 200m silver at the Athens Olympics and set off an unprecedented medal record in the 200m and 400m and in the relay 4 times with her country.
At 10 World Championships, she has a total of 19 medals (13 golds, three silvers and three bronzes), including four individual gold medals, knowing that she is the most decorated athlete of both sexes.
