The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, noted that “we are pleased, being in our brotherly country, Saudi Arabia, to express our great happiness and pride in the strong brotherly relations that unite our two brotherly countries and peoples, and the bonds of friendship, gratitude and respect, that unite them.”

In a press statement upon his arrival in Jeddah, he noted that “the convening of the Jeddah Summit on Security and Development is an appropriate opportunity to strengthen the relationship of close strategic partnership between our sister countries and the friendly United States of America, in order to open new horizons for joint cooperation in various areas.” Vital areas that confront the challenges facing the region, strengthening our joint efforts to protect regional security and stability, protect global interests, realize the aspirations of the peoples of the region for peace, development and prosperity.

The King of Bahrain stressed: “In this regard, we cannot but welcome the vital and active role of brotherly Saudi Arabia at the regional and international levels, as well as its sincere and continuous efforts to deepen interdependence, cooperation and integration between our countries and allies. and friendly countries, and to strengthen the foundations of security, stability and peace in the region.” And the whole world, expecting that this summit will be an important step in achieving what our countries and peoples aspire to in terms of world security, progress and prosperity.”
