The draw for the ADNOC Pro League has resulted in a strong showdown between Al Ahli and Sharjah’s youth in an early first round summit on 2 and 3 September as Al Ain, last season’s league champions, embarks on a journey to defend their title against Ajman.

As part of the same tour, Al Wahda is a guest of Al Wasl, Bani Yas meets Khor Fakkan, and Al Dhafra meets Al Nasr.

As for the two teams recently promoted to the pro league, Dibba faces fellow Al Jazeera in a difficult first test, with Al Batae being the guest of the Kalba Union.

As for the draw for the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, which kicks off on 11 October and will be played in a two-leg knockout system of the first round, quarter-finals and semi-finals, Nasr will face Al Batayeh in the first round, the qualifier will face Al Ain in the quarter-finals, Dibba Al-Fujairah plays Al-Jazeera and the qualifier will face Al-Ahli youth in the quarter-finals, with the rest facing Al-Wahda with Kalba, Ajman with Al Dhafra, Bani Yas with Sharjah and Khorfakkan with Al- Vaslo.
