Cardinals star JJ Watt offered to pay for a man’s funeral after he saw the deceased gentleman’s grandson tweet to pay for services by selling JJ Watt collections.
According to Yahoo News, the 33-year-old NFL player found a message from a woman who said she needed to sell a pair of Watts brand sneakers and a Watt Texan T-shirt to cover funeral expenses.
“These are great shoes, I’m selling them because we’re raising money for my grandfather’s funeral,” said a woman named Jennifer Simpson.
i have a couple @JJWatt The women’s version of the $60 size 9 Reebok shoe. I wore them twice. Beautiful shoes, only selling because we are raising money for my grandfather’s funeral. I also have a $30 Watt XL Texans women’s jersey. Interested? pic.twitter.com/USt90n221H

Watt stated that he did not want the woman to sell her collections to bury her grandfather.
“Don’t sell shoes and T-shirts, we’ll help with the funeral. I’m so sorry for your loss,” he tweeted.
I love you man. It’s been a tough year for me, and it’s been a tough year since I passed away last month. I want to tell you my story.
