Saudi club Al Bateen have announced the signing of Colombian midfielder Sebastian Pedrosa from Independiente Santa Fe on a one-year loan with an option to extend for another season.
It is noteworthy that the 23-year-old Pedrosa played 17 matches last season, in which he scored one goal and gave 4 assists. At Colombian level, Pedrosa played two test matches, one against Saudi Arabia last month, which he won with an unanswered goal, and the other against Honduras.
Turkey will host the Al-Batin camp in preparation for next season’s competition, which will start in early August and last 15 days, during which he will take part in two trials, one on the 7th and the second on the 11th of next month.
Al Bateen avoided relegation to the second division last season and have strengthened their position in the current transfer period by borrowing striker Turki Al-Mutairi from Al-Hilal and including midfielders Yahya Al-Karni and Omar Al-Suhaimi.
