Saleh Al-Mohammadi, coach of the Saudi Arabia national under-20 football team, expressed his joy at reaching the quarter-finals of the 18-team Arab States Cup currently being held in Saudi Arabia.
The team advanced to the quarter-finals after their second win in a row, which was achieved at the expense of their Iraqi counterpart 4–1 in the last round of the first group competition after beating Mauritania 2–0 in the first round, finishing first in the first group.
Al-Mohammadi indicated that they were ready to face any team in the quarter-finals and that they would decide each match according to its circumstances, stressing that the task would not be easy, as it was in the last version they won. title.
And about the difference in the performance of the players against Iraq compared to the opening match with Mauritania, Al-Mohammadi replied that it is always difficult to start, but they achieved what was required by winning both matches.
