Josevaldo Ferreira, Zamalek’s coach, confirmed that his team’s victory over Future was well-deserved, calling the result fair.
Zamalek continued to lead the Egyptian Premier League after rising to 63 points by beating Future at the end of the twenty-seventh round of the local championship.
Ferreira pointed out that they had a draw in the first half and had to look for solutions in the second half by changing their style of play.
He added that a substitution made by a coach is like a watermelon: it is either right or wrong, but the coach has to make substitutions to make a difference in the match.
Regarding their upcoming match against the Pyramids, Ferreira stressed its importance to them and their rivals and it’s hard to expect Zamalek to become league champions if they win the match, especially since Al Ahly’s matches have been postponed.
He concluded that the next one would be more difficult due to fatigue, given that they play a match every 3 days.
