The Sudanese League this season has witnessed the unique occasion of having two brothers on the bench in two different clubs fighting on two different fronts, older brother Khaled Bakhit (aka teacher), Al Hilal team coach. , who won the league championship, and the younger brother of Omar Bakhit, nicknamed “Little Teacher”, coach of the Al Amal Atbara team, thanks to which he remained in the Premier League.

Sudanese sport is known for the presence of brothers in various administrative positions and within the green rectangle, but this is the first time two brothers have held the position of technical director.

Al-Hilal signed Khaled Bakhit after the team’s results deteriorated and he lost important points with Portuguese coach Mota. Al-Amal Atbar’s team also suffered this season and were in danger of retiring from the major leagues following the resignation of coach Ahmed El-Sayed at the time , when the team entered the circle of teams that are threatened with relegation. The club’s management found no other way but to appoint general coach Omar Bakhit to oversee the team until a new coach was hired, but he showed great ability in managing the team’s remaining league matches, so the case for the new technical director was closed.

Khaled has extensive experience in the field of training having managed top clubs in the Premier League as he was head coach and became technical director. He also worked as head coach of the national team with French coach Hubert Velou. On the other hand, Omar got his first experience this season with Al Amal Atbara.
