Al-Hussein Amouta is close to returning to coach Wydad, the Moroccan league champions, in the near future, replacing Walid Regraki, who is close to taking charge of the Moroccan national team after replacing Halilhodzic.
Amauta currently leads the Moroccan national team, which is preparing to participate in the local African Championship in Algeria at the beginning of the afterlife.
According to the website of the Moroccan Championship, the Wydad club has reached a final agreement with Amouta to coach the last edition of the African Champions League champion.
He added that the decision came after a reconciliation between Saeed Al-Nasiri, the club’s president, and technical director Al-Hussein Amota.
He concluded that both sides agreed that he would lead the team, but with his temporary continuation in the local team, which continues to prepare for the African Championship for locals in Algeria.
It is noteworthy that Amota previously coached Vidad in the 2016/2017 season and crowned the African Champions League and Moroccan League titles with them.
