Brazilian player Iago Carrillo Ribeiro, who competes against his team Portimonense in the Portuguese league, was in an awkward situation during the match he played against Vitoria after scoring the winning goal in the last minutes. This behavior was quickly met with disapproval by the players on the opposing team who attacked the player, so his colleagues surrounded him and pulled him out of this predicament. But the referee gave him a yellow card, and the social media pioneers were outraged and took out their anger on the Brazilian for his behavior, which they considered “irresponsible”.

After that, the player came out to defend his behavior and said that what he did was not directed against Vitoria fans in general, but only some of them addressed him and some of his teammates with racist language.
