Egyptian wisdom Shaanda Al-Maghrabi made Egyptian Premier League history after she managed to match between Smouha and his guest Farko in the 34th and final round of the local competition.
Shaanda Al-Maghrabi became the first female referee in the history of the Egyptian Premier League to officiate a match.
Shahande, 30, had previously managed the match as a referee, but in the League Cup, which saw Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi and East Company face each other in the final round of the group stage, she became the first woman to take part in the Chief Referee’s Headquarters Assistant in the Egyptian League. where she participated as fourth referee in managing the match between Pyramids and FC Egypt last season, and El Mokawloon and East Company this season.
Shahande expressed her joy at what women’s arbitration has achieved in Egypt, believing that appearing in this match is the beginning of a journey full of achievements.
She added that her dream at the beginning was to play in the Premier League, and now she dreams of managing a top match between Al Ahly and Zamalek.
Notably, Shahande played football for a long time as a player from the age of 14, at Smukha, At-Tayaran and Misr for Clearing clubs, before retiring to arbitration in early 2014-2014. 2015 season for the International Football Association badge in two years.
