The Times has reported that Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece are in the process of submitting a joint bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The British newspaper, citing sources familiar with the process, said the announcement of a joint organization between the three countries was inevitable and would come after negotiations at high levels of government.

She added that if this file wins the honor of hosting the 2030 World Cup, it means hosting the tournament in the winter, similar to the next tournament that Qatar will host later this year to avoid high temperatures in the Gulf region in the summer.

The Times has indicated that Saudi Arabia will be the main partner and contribute to Egypt and Greece’s infrastructure costs if their joint bid wins the right to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The joint dossier of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece is expected to compete with two other dossiers, namely the joint dossier of Portugal and Spain, the four-country dossier of Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay, Chile, and Morocco alone, according to the newspaper.
