The Ministry of Tourism announced the inclusion of the Karam Museum of Models and Miniature Cars in the map of local and international sports tourism. The official announcement was made during a ceremony held by former rally champion Billy Karam at the headquarters of the museum, located in the Karam Wood Plant in Zouk Mosbeh, in the presence of municipal and sporting events.
Karam welcomed the ministry’s accreditation of the Museum of Models and Miniature Cars as a “tourist and sports attraction” and its placement on the tourism and sports map, stressing that the museum holds six Guinness World Records to date and pursues sports and tourism goals, including the promotion of the beauty of automotive world culture for which Lebanon has been famous for decades, and the Public Safety on the Roads of Lebanon publication.
He added that the former president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), who visited the museum 3 times, encouraged him by saying that the doors of the museum would remain open to everyone, free of charge, for everyone, Lebanese, Arabs and foreigners. .
For his part, Tourism Minister Walid Nassar confirmed that he visited the museum seven years ago and admired it, expressing his pride in Nabeel Karam and his ilk, as well as praising the idea that they have opened the doors of the museum for free since its inception.
