Manchester City player Erling Haaland confirmed that he knew he would quickly adapt to his new team, noting that he felt comfortable.

Haaland scored 19 goals in 13 games while scoring a brace in a 5-0 win over Copenhagen on Matchday 3 of the Champions League group stage.

“I knew I would adapt, but you never know because it’s a new city, a new country, new teammates, a new coach,” Haaland said.

“It’s a very tough competition with great teams, but I’m lucky to be on a very good team, I’m happy.”

The 22-year-old added: “I know these are players who know each other well and have been playing together for a long time, it was important for me to reach the goal, not think too much, not try to do too much, try to focus on what I have to do.”

He concluded by saying, “I didn’t want to set multiple goals for myself, but when you think about it, I want to win titles and be great at this club.”
