A spokesperson for the company said in an interview with the Russian agency “Novosti”: “We are showing this walk for the first time at the exhibition. We previously unveiled a model of it at the IDEX-2021 exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
The Milkor 380 is a medium-altitude drone with an unmistakable long flight. And it can spot targets and shoot them. We developed this drive not only for use in South Africa, but also for sale overseas. Among its competitors are the Turkish “Bayraktar” and “Anka”, as well as drones produced by the American company General Atomics.
It is worth noting that the South African march has a range of 2000 km, a flight height of more than 9000 meters, a maximum speed of 250 km / h, staying in the air for 35 hours, weight 1300 kg, useful. 210 kg carrying capacity.
The Milkor 380 is equipped with “air-to-surface” missiles with a laser guidance system.
The spokesperson said the Milkor 380 is in the final stages of testing. A feature of the walk is its components, all made in South Africa. Milkor Ltd has expressed its willingness to train staff operating in countries that wish to purchase the march.
