There are “quite a few road cuts” throughout the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, says Civil Protection. Railway circulation on the Cascais Line is suspended and the Carris operation is also highly conditioned.
In a situation report carried out this morning by Civil Protection, it was indicated that there are several accesses that are “quite conditioned”, namely:
- N117 between Queluz and Algés,
- N8 in Odivelas and Loures,
- N215 in Loures next to IKEA,
- Oliveira and A-das-Lebres roundabout in Loures (N115),
- the accesses to the A8 in Loures cut off,
- N8 in Ponte de Rol (Torres Vedras)
- Vereda Carriche Conditioned,
- IC19, IC20 and CRIL with occasional cuts in their section.
Inside the city of Lisbonimpassable are:
- Campo Grande, Campo Pequeno and Av. Juan XXI tunnels.
- AV. Berlin and Russian Baptist,
- Section of the North-South axis,
- Second Circular towards Lisbon-Corte Norte,
- Radial de Benfica also cut.
- The entire riverside area, be it Chelas/Beato or Alcantara, is also impassable;
- Penedo Road

- Av. Calouste Gulbenkian, Av. Berna and Av. Ceuta all cut off.
