The classic car division Stellantis Heritage has launched the 4C Collezione GT “Nicola Larini”, a set of three 4Cs signed by the Italian driver who defended the colors of Alfa Romeo in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM), which he won. The three Alfa Romeo 4Cs are presented with three different decorations, based on green, red and yellow, tones associated with the brand.
Curiously, all three models had Larini as a stylist, since the driver collaborated closely with Stellantis Heritage and, above all, with Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, which ended up being responsible for the exterior and interior appearance of the three 4Cs. The objective, in addition to feeding the market of collectors and lovers of the Italian brand, is to pay tribute to Larini, as well as the victory he achieved in the 1993 edition of the DTM at the wheel of a 155 V6 Ti, against his German rivals. .
The fact that three versions of the 4C Collezione GT are available allows interested parties to choose one of the three possible colors, since the model is offered in Verde Pino, Rosso Prugna and Giallo Ocra. At the same time, the paint on the front of these 4Cs is reminiscent of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GT of the 70s, vehicles that won countless victories in races of the time, including the one in Portugal.
These three new 4Cs, which are actually “reborn” since the brand used three previously manufactured, maintain their carbon fiber chassis, as well as the 1.75-liter four-cylinder supercharged engine. This unit delivers 240 hp and, according to Larini, is extremely easy to control at high speeds, which is undoubtedly helped by the low weight and high torsional rigidity, both courtesy of the carbon fiber chassis.
