A six -year -old boy has seen the teeth of a giant prehistoric megalodon shark, which may be up to 20 million years old.
According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, the tooth was 10 centimeters long and was found by boy Sammy Shelton in Baudsey Beach in England.
The newspaper reported that Sammy Shelton did not expect to find a four-inch tooth that is approximately 3 million years old.
After experts examined the tooth, they confirmed it belonged to Megalodon, the largest shark ever.
Sami’s father said his son put the tooth next to him while he slept “because he was so close to him”.
The British newspaper reported that the tooth had once belonged to a giant shark called “Megalodon” and that only its fins were believed to be the size of an adult and could reach 67 feet in length.
Its name means “big teeth” and it has 250 thick teeth designed to capture prey and break bones, including whales.
