Perhaps the design has to change the label, many times it is a matter of communication, or our ability to listen to the new fears, dreams and needs of a community. The real needs, of course. Times also now seem to be in favor of a return to fashion, manifested in tailoring pieces, with quality and durability setting the standard in this phase of Fashion.
The Academic Director of the IED Group, and the IED Moda Milano Coordinator and Creative Director, will remain in Portugal until this Sunday, the day after attending the parade of their seven Fashion graduates, whose capsule collections will be shown at the 60th edition of ModaLisboa. In addition to this Saturday, the IED had a special role in the Sangue Novo contest, with a prize that will be awarded to the winner, the designer Inês Barreto, the Master in Fashion Design in the center of Milan, endowed with 20,100 euros.
From design to fashion, from communication to management, and even from arts and restaurants to visual arts, the institute is present in Italy, Spain and Brazil. Founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli, the Istituto Europeo di Design gave rise to names such as Maria Grazia ChiuriDior Creative Director, Pierpaolo Picciolicreative director of Valentino vicenzo framecreative director of Etro and head of the leather goods segment at Fendi, or the designer Vincenzo Lattanzio, who worked with brands such as Jil Sander, Giorgio Armani, Prada. It continues to preserve the cultural matrix, although according to Riccardo, “made in Italy” is above all a “state of mind”.
