American police received a report of two people attempting to rob a restaurant, and surveillance footage showed the two suspects forcing a worker into the bathroom while trying to rob their former business.
As officers approached, investigators said the two suspects decided to climb onto the roof. One of the observation clips shows the moment the roof panels collapsed. Both thieves fell to the ground.
As the mess hall staff tried to catch them, they came up with a plan: “If they’re in the hatch, can we open one of those tiles with a broom and throw pepper spray on it? Hurry up,” someone said.

Moments later, a police officer sprayed pepper spray and eventually, police said, an officer noticed movement in a nearby dumpster and the two began to comply with police commands.
Authorities arrested two people that night, 18-year-old Marianne Williams and a 16-year-old girl.
