PHOTOS: Mexican shelves are full of baby food due to US famine

As the Biden administration has been slow to respond to the severe baby food shortage in the United States, stores in Mexico are flooding, especially the best-selling Enfamil brand.

Breitbart Texas sent local journalists to document the availability of infant formula in various Mexican cities, including some on the US border.

In Piedras Negras, across from Eagle Pass, Texas, Soriana Supermarket is stocked with baby food.

The aisles of Walmart in Eagle Pass are empty.

In the border town of Matamoros just south of Brownsville, Texas, there’s a stocked Walmart.

A similar pattern occurred at Soriana supermarkets in Ciudad Victoria, in the state border capital Tamaulipas.

Similar results were seen at the GrandD supermarket in Ciudad Victoria.

In Mexico City, Walmart offers full shelves.

Last week, the FDA announced that it would ease rules allowing imports of baby food. But experts warn that store shelves will be out of reach for imported products for several weeks.
