Spanish host El Chiringuito host Josep Pedrol has revealed the details of French star Killian Mbabane’s “letter of apology” to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
After days of controversy, he officially announced on Saturday that the French striker had decided to extend his contract with his current club, Paris Saint-Germain, the French first division champions.
According to press reports, the 23-year-old player’s career at the “Capital of Lights” team ended and he was transferred to Real Madrid.
“Mr Florentino Perez, I inform you that I have decided to stay in Paris Saint-Germain,” Mbabane said in a message to the president of Real Madrid today.
He added: “I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to play for Real Madrid, a club I have admired since I was a child.
At the end of his message, he said: “I hope you understand my decision, succeed in the Champions League final.”
