Ali Reza Enayat, director general of the Persian Gulf region at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, pointed out that the level of relations between Iran and the countries bordering the Persian Gulf “improved during the thirteenth government of the country.” He noted: “We are preparing important steps for the development of relations between Iran and the Persian Gulf, and we confirm this cooperation, and we believe that important regional discussions should be accompanied by political dialogue and political decisions.”

In his statement, he added: “The exchange of visits between Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and leaders of the region may indicate a serious desire of the parties to strengthen relations.” He emphasized that “the leaders of some Arab countries are in constant discussions with the President of Iran on the most important regional issues, and this is an important step that serves the stability of the region”, stressing that “cooperation between Iran and the Persian Gulf will lead us to economic and trade cooperation” , hoping that “we can make progress in this regard.” He stated, “We will easily and naturally participate in the Hajj season this year.”
