The Palestinian Authority said: “We have formally asked Washington to remove the name of the Liberation Organization from the list of terrorists.”

Earlier, the Palestinian Presidency expressed condemnation and disapproval of the US State Department’s decision to remove the Israeli Terrorist Qah from the list of foreign terrorist organizations. The President added that this decision is a reward for the activists of this terrorist organization, such as Itamar Ben Gvir, which deals with corruption and incitement in the occupied Palestinian cities.

The Palestinian chairman also called on the US administration to reverse its decision, which it called dangerous, and make the right, historic decision to remove the Palestine Liberation Organization from its list of terrorist organizations.

The President reaffirmed that “the PLO is, by common consent, a true partner for establishing peace on the basis of resolutions of international legitimacy for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital on the 1967 borders”, noting that “Palestine is a state recognized by the General Assembly United Nations as an observer member since 2012. It is committed to international law, international legitimacy and a world based on justice.”
