Shoigu reported that the total number of Ukrainian soldiers who have surrendered since special operations began has reached 6,489 after 126 surrendered in the last five days.
Shoigu stressed that land communication has been opened throughout the mainland from the territory of Russia to the Crimea, adding that the necessary conditions have been created for the resumption of rail traffic between Russia, Donbass, Ukraine and Crimea in 6 sections of the railways, Mariupol, Berdyansk and Kherson, while the delivery of freight to the country has already begun.
