Actor Johnny Depp reportedly spent $60,000 for dinner with friends at an upscale Indian restaurant in Birmingham, England, on Sunday night to celebrate his victory in a defamation lawsuit against the actress’ ex-husband and Amber Heard.
Depp, guitarist Jeff Beck, and 20 other friends had dinner in Varanasi, which is closed to visitors. Pirates of the Caribbean According to TMZ, the star and her entourage could take over the restaurant entirely.
Mohammed Hussain, COO of Varanasi, told the publication that Depp’s bill was around GBP 50,000, which is equivalent to about $60,000.

Hussain added that he was surprised that Depp, with whom he was chatting from his personal account, entered his restaurant and said that the actor is a very modest person.
As previously reported by Breitbart News, Depp flew to England after closing the arguments in the defamation case against Heard and remained there while the jury deliberating and also when Judge Penny Azcarate announced the verdict last week.

Depp allegedly sued Heard for $50 million in 2018 Washington Post An article in which she described herself as a victim of domestic violence ruined her film career. Heard filed a $100 million counterclaim.
On June 1, a jury found Depp in all three of the defamation cases and awarded the actor $10 million in damages and a $5 million fine. However, punitive damages are reduced by $350,000 under Virginia law, which limits punitive damages to this amount.
The jury also found in Heard’s favor in one of his two claims, awarding him $2 million in damages, but no penalty. Thus, it is assumed that the player owes Depp $ 8.35 million in compensation.
Depp spent $60,000 overnight in the UK, reportedly “damaged” after spending too much after Heard’s dizzying defeat in his lawsuit against Depp, followed by a spike in legal fees.
Meanwhile, the actress’s chief lawyer, Elaine Charleson Bredehof, shared these feelings and said: show tonight Hurd was unable to pay Depp an estimated $8.35 million last week.
