The Syrian Ministry of Transport confirmed that “reconstruction and repair work continues around the clock in technical workshops to restore damaged parts of Damascus International Airport resulting from Israeli aggression. The specific date for the return of the airport to Work.”

On June 10, the Ministry of Transport announced that Israel launched a strike on Damascus International Airport infrastructure at dawn Friday, knocking out the airport’s helipads with navigation lights, and causing property damage to the airport’s second terminal building.
