The Jordanian General Security Service announced the death of the killer of the girl, Iman Rashid, as a result of his injuries after he shot himself.

A spokesman for the Public Security Administration said in a statement that “the continuous efforts made by the investigation teams have provided information that has enabled them to locate the location of the killer of a university student named Uday Khaled Abdullah Hasan, born in 1985. , on a farm in the Balama area.

He pointed out that “the security forces immediately moved to the scene and surrounded the killer, who pointed his weapon at his head, refusing to surrender and threatening to commit suicide”, explaining that “the security forces negotiated with him, but he refused and shot himself in the region of the right half of the head (temple) on the right, according to the initial medical report, and was transferred to the hospital, intensive care unit, having lost consciousness and vital signs.

He explained that “the killer disappeared from view immediately after the crime was committed, without proving that he had been in contact with any of his acquaintances or relatives. However, the precise methods of the investigation allowed the group to identify him and his place of residence, and to a number of websites he visited before and after the commission of the crime.”

A few days ago, Jordanians were devastated by the murder of university student Iman Rashid on the campus of a private university of applied sciences north of the capital Amman.

Rashid’s murder comes days after a similar crime in Egypt in which a university student was killed, her classmate stabbed her to death in front of the gates of his university.
