Senior judicial sources revealed to the Egyptian media that speaker Shima Jamal, who was reported missing about three weeks ago in October, was shot dead and mutilated.
The sources also confirmed that her husband, a council judge, is accused of killing and mutilating her body.

Earlier, preliminary investigations revealed that Shima Jamal, a radio and television presenter, had gone out with her husband to buy supplies and asked him to wait for her. The sources pointed out that the dead executor was the accused’s second wife, who shot him dead and then mutilated his body with water cannon at his villa on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road.
It turned out that there was a witness in the incident who had been cautious about reporting for the past three weeks. Fearing the accused, he finally announced the details of the incident and the location of the body to his judicial official.
Shima Jamal worked on a number of satellite stations and was known for causing controversy in her limited experience, the first of which was on LTC when presenting the program “Al-Mashiba”.
